The Throttles and Prop axis are set up linearly (1:1) with gates that limit the travel. You may use single or double input axis for throttle and prop or use the various commands given by x-plane to control either of these Axises.
Have 3 gated zones, REV, DISC and FLIGHT. The HASH area is the flight rating mode.
Your 1:1 axis will be locked in or out of DISC to prevent you from going into the wrong area during flight. You will need to use one of the following commands to exit or enter the DISC area.

The Above commands both change your POWER lever input and if at a gate, will alow you to pass that gate if held.

The above commands, while useing an axis as input, if being limited by a gate, being held will alow you to pass that gate.
Will work with your axis while not in the FUEL OFF position. You can use props up and down command to move in and out of fuel off position or click the handle itself. You will notice that the prop up and down commands move the levers to their detents, and that your axis will also move to stick into the detents.
