Patches or updates for the Q4XP may be released from time to time.

You will see a notification on the home screen of the JPad that will indicate whether you are using the latest version or if there is a newer version available. Red text means a newer version is available.

To get the latest version:

• From the X-Plane.org store, visit the "My Account" page and download the entire plane again to install a fresh version.
• OR, use the SkunkCraft Updater to patch your current installation.

SkunkCraft Updater

The Q4XP supports updating via the Skunkcraft Updater, which is a seperate plugin that alows you to check and maintain updates for many of your favorite add-ons.

💡 Each time there is an update, a reactivation may be required, but not always. Simply enter your key as normal to activate and reload. We also add one activation if the patch requires it, so you don't need to fear running out. If you do run out, see below.

💡Do not patch with the Q4XP loaded. Load the default X-Plane aircraft before patching.
